Let it go.
This phrase is used most times to let go of anxiety and it’s true. Let me give a little behind the scenes gist, I put up 2 posts today because I was led to. None of them were in the initial plan, it was meant to be something different but somewhat related. Yesterday, I lay down on my bed and God kept reassuring His love for me, I absolutely love when He does this, gives me joy every single time. He also put these two posts in my heart to write about and so you have it. End of gist ?
So the famous thing is “Let go and let God.” So why did Anesi Igebu add “Let it out”? It’s easy, you cannot let go if you’re still holding the said issue in your heart. You have to let it out, now I’m not saying tell anybody available but tell The One available, the One in your heart. Let it out to Him, tell Him your struggles, your pain, everything. Just speak up, write it out even and throw the paper away or burn it, just let it out of your head. And when you do that, you know that choked up feeling, it clears up.
Next on the list is letting go, don’t think about it anymore, try your best not to. Know that God is in control.
SOME “LET IT GO” VERSES TO CHECK OUT
Psalm 46:10 says “Be still, and know that I am God.” In Hebrew, Be still translates to râphâh<raw-far’>, this means to let go. See??? Know translates to yâda'<yaw-dah’> which means to recognise, admit.
He’s basically telling you to let go of your worries and leave it to Him. He has said, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
I know sometimes, you’ll find it hard to let go but how do you truly expect it to leave you alone if you’re holding on to it? God is in control and He loves you like crazy.
Grace and Peace,
